Adobe CS4 is the 11th version of Adobe’s venerable standard imaging application. Along with Bridge CS4, it has become one of the most popular image editing programs. This is a solid upgrade with a good mix of new features and improvements to old favorites. In particular, the improved raw processing, and the new adjustment panel are a key part of my workflow when in Photoshop. Tighter integration with Light room 2.0 is a welcome addition, and the ability to perform better soft-proofing in the Print dialog is also helpful. Still, it is a big and complex program when it has to be taken away.Problem uninstalling Adobe CS4 suite
Though it is a big and complex program that probably does more than most of us will ever need. It’s certainly not a easy program to uninstall If you decide Photoshop CS4 is not the right option for you. The first problem you would meet when trying to remove an updated AdobeCS4 was it claimed it could not uninstall because it thought the Adobe Updater was not installed, even though it was.
It can be confusing when an uninstaller would throw a fatal error when it’s asked to uninstall Adobe CS4 and finds it’s not installed and the Updater behind. More frustrating was that the Uninstaller(s) that Adobe puts on the machine in /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ worked just fine. they’d uninstall the products even when the Adobe Uber Uninstaller failed.
Final solution to remove entire Adobe CS4
There would have been a much better chance of doing a successful uninstall than relying on uninstall info from the Adobe CS4 Enterprise Deployment Toolkit, since it would be using up-to-date information for that exact machine, instead of potentially out-of-date information from the original install. A Perfect Uninstaller basically gets rid of all the parts of the Adobe CS4 on your system, and stops it from loading up or returning to your PC again. It is highly effective as it will help you remove any of the possible issues that the Web Root Spy Sweeper may cause if it’s not properly removed from your system.
